Experience and Manufacturing Process

How much experience do you have?

We have successfully completed over 400 custom closet installations in the Florida panhandle since 2006. Ken Rodgers has over 15 years of experience in cabinetry, furniture and construction including kitchens, baths and additions.

When you hire ArtisanBilt you can be assured that we will use our expertise to evaluate,

measure and design your custom closet to meet your unique storage needs and preferences. We do not use cookie cutter or standard corporate or franchise designs.

Whether you want to organize your walk-in closet, reach-in closet, bedroom, pantry, office or garage storage, it is our goal to bring ingenuity and quality to your project.

Do you design and manufacture all the custom closets you install?

Yes, we manufacture each custom closet at our 10,000 sq. ft. facility to ensure quality, on time delivery and proper fit and finish.

This provides us with a significant advantage over our competitors that don’t have a dedicated facility and are subject to the whims and capabilities of manufacturers.

In the event that we need to change or adjust something, we can easily produce a new part, usually the same day. Our competitors will often have to wait weeks for replacement parts or the installer will be forced to “make it work” on the job.

Who will be supervising my project?

Ken Rodgers, the company owner, supervises each project. He has over 15 years of experience in cabinetry, furniture and construction including kitchens, baths and additions.

Our goal on each project is to ensure that the installation is completed using our step-by-step process that has been developed and refined based on the 400 projects we have successfully completed.

Our process allows our clients to know specifically what we are doing and it also allows them to easily compare what we offer with our competitors.

Supervising each project allows us to continually train our employees. We never let new employees learn on their own. Manufacturing and installing custom closets is based on a set of skills that require constant learning about new materials, installation methods and safety processes.

What is your process?

  • A designer will meet with you at your home or office to discuss your specific needs, desires, and budget.

  • Detailed measurements and a rough sketch of the space(s) are made.

  • All physical obstacles (light switches, receptacles, etc.) that will affect the layout are noted.

  • Discuss design ideas, show pictures of previous designs, and show samples of materials, colors, and accessories.

  • Following the initial meeting, the information we gathered is used to fit as many of your needs and desires into the target space within the prescribed budget.

  • The initial design and estimate will be presented to you along with our advice on certain design decisions.

  • You will then have the opportunity to review these initial designs and make request for changes, additions, and deletions as desired.

  • We will discuss the impact (positive or negative) of requested changes with you, but ultimately you will make the final decision. We only recommend accessories that fit your space and use preferences.

  • Once a final design is produced and approved by you then an agreement will be provided for your approval.

At ArtisanBilt, we want you to be happy long after the last shelf is installed and to back that up we offer a lifetime warranty on workmanship.
